It seems almost impossible to believe that I created them within two and a half years!
I hope by now you understand how important I consider Personal Development and having the best possible Attitude you can. I’ve often been asked the question, especially during coaching sessions or from the audience during a speech or seminar: “What is it that drives you so much towards Attitude and Personal Development?”
There are many reasons, but one I value most is the happiness and joyfulness that I feel when someone lifts themself to new and higher levels that seemed to be impossible when they started. Another is participating in the process of helping a person to reach their dream in life.
Without wanting to be too negative I consider our world today as mostly egotistic, greedy and ruthless. Too many of us only think what´s best for them and the profit they can make. Instead of thinking; “What shall I do to get as much as possible out of the situation I am in right now?”, just consider if instead you were to think; “What is the most optimal thing I can give to this situation?”
I can promise you that if you consistently think and act in this way, you will soon discover that you get a much better outcome than you expected at the beginning! If you consider this reasoning to be flawed – even crazy – then my simple question is; “Have you tested it?”
Never reject anything before you’ve tested it!

I believe that many of you are aware of the great ‘refugee problem’ between the USA and Mexico which involves many Mexicans trying to cross the border to get into the USA.
Some days ago I read in our local newspaper about this matter, and it seems that smuggling people illegally into the USA from Mexico has become a whole industry. It’s not only smuggling them either – they also kidnap many of them and demand money from their relatives who already live in the USA. This kind of greed and cruelty so often terribly affects many of us!
Below is a quote from one of the people kidnapped:
“When the kidnappers took us into the house they said: “Welcome to hell – in here we will cut of your throat!” They killed five of us in front of our eyes. I was forced to call my family in the USA and ask them to send the ransom being asked. One of our group managed to escape and went to the police. They brought him back to the kidnappers who cut off one hand to teach him a lesson so he didn’t try anything like this again. I heard the policeman say to the kidnappers – if you have any more trouble just call us! When the guards saw a woman they wanted they just raped her, on the floor in front of all of us. When one of the group said that he didn´t have any relatives in the USA, they threw him out into the garden where there were big dogs that hadn’t eaten for many days! Then we who were left got food!”
Unfortunately this is the truth!

Now that the vacation period is more or less finished in most of the countries in Europe and America, many people go into a depression. Of course it’s nice to have a vacation but please don’t forget that working is the normal situation for the majority of us.
From my experience I see it like this; it’s not a disaster to start working again. Just think how many people don’t have jobs but it’s their greatest wish to have one. See the positive in having something of value to do that gives your life meaning.
If your work doesn’t give you any value and you feel bored and find it agony to go to, then CHANGE your work, profession or employer. Why waste such a big part of your waking time doing something that gives you absolutely no value and joy?
Wake up! Ensure that for the rest of your professional life you’re doing something that IS fulfilling and rewarding.
Do you know that it’s NEVER too late to change your work, your profession or your employer? It’s only how you think that matters and if you think with a positive attitude it will be much easier for you. NOW is the right time to act! If not now then when else will it be?
Now many of you might wonder how you can create a better attitude. My tip is to go back and read all my previous texts (up to now there are around. 300 of them.) Many of them contain help in starting this process.

Unfortunately I’m forced to go back to the issue of swine flu vaccinations; most of you have probably put it to the back of your mind (which should have been the best place for it!)
If you read my texts on a regular basis you’ll know that a year ago I wrote about how wrong I thought it was to inject not-very-well-tested material into your body. With a good attitude, why should we get “protected” against something that isn’t any worse than most of the previous strains of flu? Who is behind it and what is the hidden agenda? Can it be the poor drug industry that has a problem making enough money – or is it somebody that wants to get inside us at any cost?
A few days ago it emerged that there have been several people – mainly children – who have developed a very unusual disease. It’s a neurological disease that makes your muscles extremely relaxed and you can suddenly fall asleep. They’ve now discovered that it seems to be caused by the flu vaccine (are you surprised? I’m not!). In my view this is probably only the top of the iceberg; we don’t know how many problems the vaccine has caused because we haven’t got all the information – and we probably will never ever get it. Now think how much this vaccination has cost and what we could have used it for.
I made my choice not to have it immediately everyone in Sweden was offered the injection, although I’m still happy that approximately 70% of the Swedish population got it -not once, but twice! My wife Tina also refused it and in telling you this, I should also say this was in spite of the fact that we’d booked a journey to India, on our own, without any travel agency involved.
Why was there such massive marketing and strong recommendations to get this crap injected into our bodies? Don’t forget that so many people in the western world have been injected and it can’t now be undone! I wonder if there are people who are happy about this and why?

I’ve been thinking of this for a while now, and every time I do it seems to me to be clearer and clearer.
Nowadays, people in the western world are tending to adjust their way of living to many of the ways of the eastern world (mainly in Asia). Among other things it includes such things as mindfulness, religious beliefs, food, etc.
Now the paradox is that people in the eastern world are tending more and more to try to get what we have in the western world, including our way of living where money (and through that material things) fast food, status etc. are all important. I read in a newspaper a while ago that China has passed the USA as the biggest energy consumer in the world. Obesity is an increasing problem in India, mainly in the fast-growing middle classes that now have values influenced by the west.
How will it look in thirty years? Will we have changed lifestyles with each other or will we have moved towards each other so much that there is much less difference in our lifestyles? I find this to be a good paradox. If we can learn from each other – even the not-so-good stuff – the world will be a better place to live in. We might be able to share both material things and mental health; in other words, we will have a more equal world.

If you really want to achieve something in life, who cares if it takes a long time if it’s something of great importance to you? If it is, you will do all in your power to succeed.
Most people give up through lack of confidence in their ability to both manage the process and to fulfill their objective. But you don’t need any guarantees of success as long as you find it worthwhile. Just doing it and living it has its own power for you.
If we were aware of how many of us have given up our dreams just before they were going to be fulfilled, it would probably have been a horrifying experience.
Never give up on your dreams – they’ve been given to you to be fulfilled by you, otherwise they wouldn’t have revealed themselves.

I never cease to be surprised about peoples’ short term thinking and acting! For instance, in a government election if people are asked who they’re going to vote for and then get the follow-up question; “Why?” the answer will be close to one hundred percent: “Because it’s best for me!”
I believe very strongly that this is absolutely the worst way of thinking. If voting that way really will get the best for you (and like so much else this is a very egotistic way of thinking) then why not vote for what´s best for me too? If you vote for the best solution for the whole country, in the long term it will also be the best for you. Your situation right now may be quite different within a year or even a few months time. For example, today when voting you might be unemployed but in a few months you might acquire a great new job!
Stop voting in the short time for egotistic benefits which will never, ever, achieve anything for anyone – including for you. It’s the long term that really counts and getting benefits for many people. Don’t you think it’s better to have a good life in the longer term than in the short term?
Egotistic, short term thinking is common for so much more than an election. Are you one of those people who doesn’t see any further than their nose?

Please think this through:
In China there’s a Bamboo that grows in an extraordinary way. The Bamboo needs to be very carefully nursed for its first five years; the ground needs to be fertilized and watered every other day – even if you can’t see any sign of life at all. If you’ve done all of this then in five years time you will start to see the Bamboo coming up through the ground, and within a few weeks it will grow to a height of approximately 4-5 meters!
I have a question: Has the Bamboo been growing for a few weeks or five years?
This is like life; often you struggle towards your goals without seeing any results, but when you’ve struggled for long enough, all of a sudden the goal reveals itself to you. Your endurance has been paid back to you. The answer to the question by the way is ‘five years’. If this wasn’t your answer I suggest you start wondering when in your life you’ve give up a dream because you didn’t have the endurance to wait for it. Remember that a dream is always standing in front of you and trying to get your attention.

At first sight this may seem obvious, but if you really think about it – is it always like this? Do you always focus on the important things or do unimportant things get much more focus?
Recently I was told that I had high blood pressure and blood fat levels. To me, and I presume to most of us getting this news, it became a much higher priority. This combination of high blood pressure and blood fats increases the risk of getting heart disease, and that to me is very important because my father died of a heart attack at 44 years old! Consequently, certain things suddenly became more important than others and demanded a greater level of focus in order to deal with them.
These high levels made me re-focus from what I was currently doing and to start tackling the causes. I decided to change my eating habits and to start exercising (mainly jogging). One of my goals was to reduce my weight from 105 kg down to 90 kg and to keep it like that. This became quite easy for me now I had my great ‘why?’ and it created in me a great will to do it.
You need a great ‘why?’ as through it will come motivation – and that’s what creates the action necessary to overcome all the obstacles that the start-up process is filled with. Many people who have started to decrease their weight have believed they had the will to do it, but in the end they failed because they didn´t have the ‘why?’
The need to do the important things made me re-prioritise some of the less important things in order to do the most important thing – which for me was to exercise.

Those people who fully go for their dreams and see them fulfilled, are without exception prepared to change their normal behavior pattern and to challenge this great event we all – more or less – participate in (which we call life!) They’ve decided to really live it rather than just going through it; they’re not satisfied to have an ordinary life so they’re searching for greater challenges.
Many of us don’t understand them, so a common question to them is; “Why are you not just satisfied with what you already have?” (This kind of question more often than not comes from people close to them, like family and friends.) But these people have understood the need to take advantage of the possibilities that life always provides us with, not just those they have at the moment.
They consider that everything they must overcome to achieve what they want is worth it in order to fulfill their dreams – which very often are beyond “normal” visions of dreams. Universe, the higher intellect, energy, God or whatever you wish to call it – only pays you in direct proportion to what you are worth.
Are you living your dream? If not – why not?
